Assumption School, Manchester, CT - Pre-K through 8th Grade Catholic Education

Assumption School recognizes our three-fold task of message, community, and service.  We spread the Gospel message to live as Christ lived through word and deed, guiding each child to an appreciation of his/her special qualities as a child of God.  We strive to facilitate each child’s emotional, intellectual, social, physical, and spiritual development in the light of the teachings of Jesus.  Each child is helped to nurture a positive self-image and develop self-discipline in all areas of his/her education.

The administration, faculty, and staff strive to provide a well-rounded education in the setting of a Catholic community.  Parents and students round out this community.  Teachers offer a challenging, quality academic program, teaching traditional basic skills with a contemporary approach and integrating Christian values into the learning process.  Students assume their responsibility to learn and develop to their fullest potential.

Teachers and students are called upon to be witnesses to Christ in the integration of religious truths and values in daily life and to incorporate the ideal of Christian service within and beyond our school community.  Teachers actively participate in the spiritual and academic growth of the school.  Students are provided an education intended to prepare them for time.
