We also chose Assumption specifically to ensure a safe caring environment that would encompass kindergarten through eighth grade. We didn’t want our children to attend a large middle school… Middle school is the most critical time in a child’s development around peer pressure.

As parents, we make critical decisions regarding our children from the time they are born. We also tend to worry about whether the decisions we make were the right ones. I can honestly say that our decision to send our children to Assumption School has been a 'no brainer'.
The school has given our children a great education and a reinforcement of the moral and spiritual values we instill in them in our home.

When I talk to family and friends with children close in age to ours, we notice a big difference in their manners and how knowledgeable our kids are in many different areas. I’ve received many compliments from family, friends and people I meet when they, too, notice these great characteristics in our children. We appreciate and thank Assumption School for all the wonderful things you’ve given our children.

When choosing an elementary school, we were interested in a full day program (kindergarten) with an after school program, due to a two-income family. Our son has developed into a fine, well-mannered spiritual child. We believe he is receiving a well-rounded education. We are especially grateful for the after school program, where our son can relax, play and socialize with other respectful children – often he doesn’t want to come home!

Throughout the six years our children have attended Assumption School, we have been continually reminded our choice of schools was the correct one. From the opening prayers & flag raising in the morning until they finish in homework club, we know our children are in a caring, educationally excellent environment. They are constantly challenged to go beyond their "safe zone", yet are given individual attention when they struggle with a concept.
We would urge any family looking for a learning environment where children are given the tools to succeed to strongly consider the foundation Assumption will provide for them.
